Do you know how you appear when anger overtakes you?
Your mouth slackens as if one side
succumbs to numbness.
Are you cognizant of the torrent of words unleashed?
The knotted phrases spat out
as if you've forgotten how to speak.
I’m certain your performance aims to intimidate me
into submission, but do you realize how funny you seem?
When your hands flail about
like the wacky inflatable man,
you become a mockery of yourself.
Ridiculous and absurd, and I can’t help but laugh.
